Greetings Composers!
Your submissions for the 4th Annual Research on Contemporary Composition Conference have been selected for presentation. There were 400+ submissions this year.
We are pleased to announce that the following compositions (see attached) will be programmed for the fourth annual ROCC (Research on Contemporary Composition Conference).
Thank you for your submissions and interest in this year's conference.
Being virtual, the conference is free and open to the public as a YouTube broadcast on October 24 at 1:00 pm. You may discover the link for this portion of the conference at
https://ung.edu/music/music-events. Saturday's presentations will be a full block (not separated into sessions). We will send out a booklet that morning and we will not announce the exact timings of pieces - we encourage you to observe the presentations and join us for the chat on YouTube.
Sunday's presentations will not be presented virtually, they will be presented acousmatically on the Tumbling Creek Preserves Trails located at the University of North Georgia's Gainesville Campus. We ask that you do not travel from out of town for this event. Sunday's presentations will be available in the conference booklet as well.
