curAItor wählt Werke von Kim, Martínez und Guadarrama aus.
87 Komponist*innen aus 25 Ländern sind dem Call for Scores der Donaueschinger Musiktage gefolgt, darunter 14 Komponistinnen. Gesucht wurden Aufnahmen zeitgenössischer Werke für Klavier solo. Gehört und bewertet wurden die eingesandten Werke von einer Künstlichen Intelligenz, dem curAItor. Nick Collins hatte den curAItor für die Donaueschinger Musiktage programmiert und anhand von 100 Klavierwerken geschult.
Jetzt hat der curAItor das Ergebnis bekannt gegeben. Ausgewählt wurden die Werke von Dong-Myung Kim, Patricia Martínez und Andrés Guadarrama. Aufgeführt werden die Werke am 18. und 19. Oktober im Rahmen der Donaueschinger Musiktage. Der Pianist ist Joseph Houston.
We are happy to tell you, that your piece Outside was chosen by the curAItor for a performance at Donaueschinger Musiktage this October. Your piece was selected out of all entries submitted by 87 composers from 25 nations. This project is a really special one for us and we were excited to see, that there was so much interest from all over the world.
Your composition will be performed in concert by pianist Joseph Houston at Donaueschinger Musiktage, on October 18th at 6pm and on October 19th at 10am at Museum Art.Plus.
